"Iekei" Ramen in Singapore!🍜

What kind of ramen do you like?🍜

I lived in Yokohama for two years and loved this ramen so much that I rushed in as soon as it opened on the first day.

I had my favourite ramen this month.

It's 'Iekei Ramen’!

Iekei ramen is a style of ramen with fatty pork bone and chicken carcass soy sauce-based soup with thick flat noodles. On top of this is spinach, char-siu pork and seaweed.😋

This type of ramen originated from a shop in Yokohama called Yoshimuraya, and at first sister shops were established that inherited the shop's taste, and later people opened their own shops, and it became recognised among the Japanese as a type of ramen!

It is estimated that there are about 1,000 restaurants serving Iekei Ramen, mainly in Japan and Asia.

Of these, about 150 are located in Yokohama City.😮

We may not see Iekei Ramen in Singapore, but Keisuke Ramen is selling it only in February at the Suntec City branch.

I tried it and couldn't get enough of the rich, flavorful broth of Iekei Ramen, and the noodles and toppings were good!

When ordering Iekei Ramen, you can choose the thickness of the flavour, the amount of fat in the soup, and the degree of noodle boiling, so you can customise it to your liking.

You can also enjoy different flavours of chili bean sauce and garlic as they come with the ramen.

If you order this ramen, you also get free rice, which is perfect for those who want to fill up!

However, they say it's limited to 15 portions each day and night, so get there before they're gone.

I'm sure it will become your favourite!
